Canon Europe has released a total of four new “imagePROGRAF” series large format printers. These new models include the imagePROGRAF GP-4000 (44 inch) and GP-2000 (24 inch) that use 11 colours including red, orange, green and violet ink including fluorescent pink ink, and the imagePROGRAF GP-300 (36 inch) and GP-200 (24 inch) that use 5 colours plus fluorescent pink ink.
“With a choice of four GP printer models offering 10 or 5 pigmented aqueous inks plus fluorescent pink ink and three different printing widths, businesses of all sizes can reproduce a wider colour gamut and add zing with fluorescent pink to make eye-catching prints that really pack a punch. And these new large format printers are just as productive, efficient and easy to use as the rest of the imagePROGRAF PRO family, so customers can focus on the future and get ready to come back brighter.”
– Junichi Wachi, Director of LFP EMEA, Canon Europe
The world’s first large format photographic printer with aqueous pigment fluorescent ink achieves high impact graphical output.
Elevate photographic and fine art prints with vivid, superior quality printing, using a wide colour gamut that features five new colours – red, orange, green and violet – plus the fluorescent pink, capable of producing neon and pastel shades.
The imagePROGRAF GP-2000 is the world’s first PANTONE™ calibrated printer for PANTONE PASTEL & NEON GUIDE Coated, in addition to 99% coverage from the PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE Solid Coated.
Multifunction rolls systems and Smart Roll Paper support the delivery of professional quality output, while hot swap ink tanks allow inks to be replaced without disrupting the print process.
Security Print feature with PIN access helps provide protection against loss or leakage, allowing you to print with peace of mind that all your data is being managed securely.
New printers receive a “Pantone-calibrated” license for a wide range of applications.
A technology coined “Radiant Infusion” layers the newly developed fluorescent pink ink with the additional 11 other inks on the paper surface during the printing process, enabling bright and soft colour reproduction, while the bundled PC software “PosterArtist Lite” enables users to create high impact posters with ease. In addition, the imagePROGRAF GP-4000/2000 features red, orange, green and violet inks that expand the range of colour reproduction to achieve the largest colour gamut in the imagePROGRAF series.
